Why the vaccine is the Mark of the Beast.
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger

Whoever believes in the Jesus eternal life

OK, welcome to my first blog post! I hope you will find my ramblings challenging/interesting/funny.

I am very keen to help as many people as possible come to a saving faith in Jesus.

With a blog, you can read my posts “safely,” free from harassment by a socially inept, pushy Christian (I happen to believe I’m not like that, but hey, you don’t know me from Adam). And I can take time to choose my words carefully, and hopefully better reflect my true meaning – time will tell! I‘m going to try to post something once or twice a week.

I believe that the gospel (the essence of the Christian message) is rarely heard today. This message is so crucial for every single person, yet it is lost in a noise of unfavourable coverage of Christian affairs. Most times when non-Christians read/hear about Christianity, it is either different church factions bickering about trivial aspects of theology, or a group of bellicose bible-bashers (I am going to try for alliteration at least once per post) commenting clumsily, and normally negatively, about the social issue du jour.

Don’t get me wrong, genuine Christianity has some tough things to say about some social issues, but those things pale into insignificance compared to the main point. So I’m going to try and focus a whole lot of the time on the gospel message. Here it is:

God sent His only son Jesus, to live on earth in human form. He lived a life that was completely without sin. He was put to death on a cross, and because he had no sin of his own, he was able to take on his own head the sins of everybody else. As a result, everyone who believes that Jesus is God’s son and did what I’ve just described is “saved” (that means they will live for all eternity with God, and after they pass on from this life, they will live in heaven).

Another thing I am going to do in every post is include a verse from the Bible. This time the verse is from the book of John, chapter 3, verse 16 (normally that’s just written John 3:16):

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

This is a short passage from the Bible, but there are so many things to explain and discuss in there. Just one of the key things for me is this:

• Nobody is so horribly evil that they cannot be saved by believing in Jesus, and conversely
• Nobody is so perfect that they can be saved without Jesus

In my next post, I am going to start discussing that second point – why do we need to be saved at all? If you are feeling just a little bit offended by that second bullet point, or are just interested to read more, check out my next post.

God bless,
